Over multiple decades, he completed numerous parikramas (circuits) around the sacred peaks, meticulously logging terrain data and seasonal changes.

The 1950 edition is prized by rare book collectors for its complex companion materials. A complete copy includes a collection of 12 large, detailed geographic maps tracking trails, river flows, and mountain boundaries. Because these delicate fold-out maps were often separated from the main binding or damaged over time, surviving editions with all 12 intact are highly sought after by collectors of Himalayan exploration literature
